Ingredients

For this delicious apple cake recipe you will need 3 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 2 eggs, 1 cup of vegetable oil, 2 cups of white sugar, 3 teaspoons of vanilla extract, 3 cups of peeled and diced apples and 1/2 cup of chopped nuts.

Instructions

Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. In a separate bowl, mix together the eggs, oil, sugar and vanilla extract. Gradually add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until everything is just moistened. Stir in the diced apples and chopped nuts.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
