Ingredients

This delicious ice cream cake recipe will require: 1 box of cake mix, 2 cups of heavy cream, 1 ½ cups of sugar, 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, 1 pint of your favorite ice cream, and some sprinkles for garnish (optional).

Preparing the Cake

Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9-inch round cake pan. Prepare the cake mix according to the instructions on the box, then pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake the cake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Making the Ice Cream Filling

In a medium bowl, beat the heavy cream and sugar together until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in the vanilla extract and your favorite ice cream. Spread the ice cream mixture over the cake and freeze for at least 2 hours.

Garnishing and Serving

When the cake is ready, remove it from the freezer and let it thaw for about 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with sprinkles or other desired toppings and serve. Enjoy!
