You'll need: one and a half cups of all-purpose flour, one teaspoon of baking powder, a quarter teaspoon of baking soda, half a teaspoon of salt, a half cup of melted butter, a cup of sugar, two eggs, one teaspoon of vanilla extract, and one cup of sour cream.

Instructions for Preparing the Cake

Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch round cake pan with butter and set it aside. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix until combined. Gradually stir in the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Add the sour cream and mix until fully incorporated.

Making the Streusel Topping

In a separate bowl, mix together one cup of flour, one cup of packed brown sugar, one teaspoon of ground cinnamon, and a half cup of melted butter. Use a fork or a pastry cutter to mix the ingredients until crumbly. Set aside.

Baking the Crumb Cake
