To make delicious Christmas cake pops you will need: cake mix, frosting, lollipop sticks, white chocolate, sprinkles and a microwave safe bowl.
Instructions
To begin, preheat oven to 350°F and prepare the cake mix according to the instructions on the box. Once the cake is finished baking, allow it to cool completely.
Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl and add 1/2 cup of frosting. Mix the cake and frosting together until they form a dough-like consistency.
Using a spoon or your hands, form the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
Once the cake balls have chilled, insert a lollipop stick into the center of each ball. Melt the white chocolate in a microwave safe bowl according to the instructions on the package.
Using a spoon or a brush, coat each cake ball in melted chocolate. Immediately add sprinkles or other decorations to the cake pops before the chocolate sets.
Place the cake pops back on the parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for 30 minutes or until the chocolate has set.
