Instructions

Begin by preheating your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Next, sift the flour, sugar, salt, and cream of tartar into a large bowl. In a separate bowl, mix together the warm water, vanilla, and egg whites. Then, add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix together until everything is thoroughly combined. Grease a 9 inch cake pan with butter, then pour the mixture into the pan.

Baking
